TAP Tip no.67 – When dad’s away for work, go on dates… Many dates! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»β€οΈβ€οΈπŸŽ‰

First, it’s easier than cooking and cleaning. πŸ™‹ Second, when you’ve been with the munchkin for multiple days and nights, you could use a little break yourself! πŸ‘πŸ»Third, the quality one-on-one time is priceless. And fourth, it’s just so much darn fun!

It doesn’t have to be pricey! There are ways to get creative with it: eat a bit before you go, pick places with kids deals (some even do “kids eat free” days), or just split a large meal between the two of you and add an extra side or two if needed! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

This was my breakfast diner date with this lil walrus this morning. (second picture for reference. πŸ˜‚ And no, I didn’t take the second pic. πŸ“· credit: Wikipedia ☺️ We grabbed dinner last night, and we juuuuuust might do it again tonight! πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸŽ‰

No question his daddio is being missed though, and probably more so this trip than any other – or maybe it just seems that way because Thatcher’s finally really communicating it more. Annnnnd I have to say, it’s just the most precious thing to hear… 😍😍😍😍😍

This morning: “Mom, where’s dad? Thatcher miss dad”. This afternoon: “Mom, Thatcher excited to see dad”. And just now, “Mom, Thatcher take a rocket ship to see dad”. πŸš€β€οΈ At least he’s getting more productive by the hour… πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰

He’ll be home soon little man. And in the meantime, how about one more date! πŸ™‚
